EASA regulations now require pilots to conduct a low visibility training course in order to add Low Visiblity "LV" to their type rating. This training course enables pilots to conduct Low visibility Takeoffs (LVTO) and CAT II approaches. Pilots subsequently joining airlines with "LV" already on their type rating will be able to commence low visibility operations in a much shorter time frame which may make them more marketable to airlines.

Through our partnership with local operators, Skyblue is now able to offer low visibility training either as part of the type rating or as an optional standalone course.
